I have never used a mouse pad with the wrist rest in the past, however these gel filled mouse pads caught my eye. My first observation was obvious, the amount of gel to support your wrists in quite generous , I was also surprised by the weight of this product - combined with the shiny non-slip backing the mouse pad simply stays put on your desk, attempting to slide the mouse pad sideways it would not move.

The top surface is a screen printed fabric which provided faultless tracking as I moved the mouse around, I am not sure at this stage about how dirty this fabric surface will get over time, but I certainly don't have a problem sponging it down in the future.

After a few hours working on the computer I did notice that my wrist was feeling quite relaxed and noticed that I tended to leave my right hand on the mouse and pad where previously I tended leave my hand free.

Anyway, this product is not just a gimmick, I works very well as a mouse pad with the added advantage of the wrist rest - this one will stay on my desk.
